Gratitude in Contrast: From Portugal’s Heat to Indonesia’s Embrace 🌴

Portugal gave me 45° heat — the kind that sets every cell on fire and leaves my body inflamed.
The kind of heat that presses down heavy, making every breath a little harder.

And in that discomfort, I realized something: how deeply supported I feel living in Indonesia.

In Indonesia, the climate doesn’t fight me — it holds me.
The air feels softer. My body breathes easier. Even my hair seems to sigh in relief.
There’s a harmony in the tropics that nourishes me from the inside out.

Sometimes gratitude reveals itself not in the everyday comforts, but in the contrasts.
It’s when we step away that we truly feel the difference.
And that difference reminds us: our environment is medicine too.

Whether it’s the land we walk on, the air we breathe, or the seasons that cycle through us — our bodies are always in conversation with the places we live.

🌱 What if we listened a little more closely?
🌱 What if we honored the spaces that hold us well?
🌱 What if we gave ourselves permission to choose environments that let us thrive, not just survive?

Because when our body feels safe and supported, everything else flows more easily — our creativity, our relationships, our joy.

✨ If you’re craving practices to feel more supported, rooted, and in flow (no matter where you are in the world), I share some of my favorite tools and rituals here: slow-secrets-tribe.kit.com/starthere

Your environment matters. But so does the way you meet yourself within it. 💛
