From Lack to Gratitude: Shifting the Lens

It’s so easy to get caught up in what we don’t have.
To measure our lives against someone else’s, imagining how much brighter, easier, or fuller it would be “if only.”

I’ve felt that pull. The tug of frustration, envy, and impatience.
The stories my mind tells me: “I should have this. I deserve that. Why isn’t it happening yet?”

But lately, I’m learning a different approach.

Instead of resisting what is, I try to ground myself in what I do have.
The simple things. The quiet anchors. The small joys that often go unnoticed.
From that place of presence and gratitude, life shifts.

Because when we start with what we already hold:

🌱 Our energy softens instead of stiffening.
🌱 Our clarity grows instead of clouding over.
🌱 Our actions align with our vision instead of spinning in frustration.

And that’s the magic: gratitude doesn’t mean settling.
It means showing up fully, appreciating the now, and moving intentionally toward what we truly want.

💭 Today, pause and notice three things in your life that you already have — and let them fuel your next step.

✨ If you’d like a gentle guide to build daily gratitude rituals and align with what you truly desire, I share my favorite practices here: slow-secrets-tribe.kit.com/starthere

Your journey doesn’t have to start from lack. Start from presence, and watch the path unfold.
