There’s a place in North Bali
where waterfalls whisper behind coffee trees
and time slows down enough for hearts to meet again.
We called it our family day —
not the kind you’re born into,
but the kind you choose.
Just us, walking through spice gardens,
sharing silence between the sound of rain and our own laughter.
Stopping to breathe in clove and cacao,
to let the mist from Red Coral Waterfall kiss our skin.
No rush. No plan.
Only the rhythm of our steps,
and the soft conversations of the forest.
At Labuhan Kebo, we bathed in clear water —
a quiet blessing on our bodies and our souls.
At Melanting, we sat in stillness,
watching each drop fall like a small prayer offered to the sky.
Later, we found a small warung over the valley,
clove coffee in hand,
mountains folding into gold.
We didn’t speak much —
just watched the day close gently around us,
feeling the kind of peace that lingers long after the sun sets.
This is what a family day feels like.
No expectations.
Just belonging.
Just love — in its slowest, richest form.
✨ Sometimes the most meaningful moments are the simplest.
