My Favorite Place in Bali

It’s not where the parties are.
It’s not where the waves crash against beach clubs,
or where scooters queue in the sun.

It’s up there —
where the air tastes like morning dew and clove,
where waterfalls whisper instead of traffic,
and the only rush is the river carving its way through moss and stone.

Here, I drink fresh orange juice with a splash of strawberry —
the kind that stains your smile with color.
Spices grow wild: ginger, turmeric, galangal —
and the scent of earth and rain lingers on your hands.

The forest feels ancient, awake.
Giant ferns arch over narrow paths,
and you walk slower, breathe deeper,
because everything around you is still — and watching.

It’s Bali, yes —
but the Bali that hides when you move too fast.
The one that meets you only when you slow down enough to feel it. 🌺

If your soul’s been craving this kind of stillness —
come explore the slow side of the island with us.
